REQ13237 Attendant, Card Room (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Attendant, Card Room is responsible for all card room inventories, preparation and delivery of playing cards, delivery of stationery and sundry equipment, to all gaming areas in a secure manner
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the distribution and destruction of cards is performed in accordance with agreed secure procedures and policies utilizing the Playing Card Management System (PCMS)
- Ensures accurate and timely communication with the Supervisor, Card Room to ensure the complete security control of the card storage areas and replenishment process
- Anticipates, organizes, and coordinates the replenishment of cards, gaming equipment and stationary requirements across the gaming floor and Table Games Administration areas, working as a team
- Ensures all Inventory balance records across the card storage areas are accurate by completing physical checks on a regular basis
- Consistently seeks to develops an effective working relationship with team members and ensure a positive approach to tasks and duties as required
- Ensures self-compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Daily pit replenishment is completed with minimal issues and interruption to gaming floor
- Key attention to detail
- Consistently follow instructions from the Supervisor, Card Room
- Willing and able to lift and carry heavy equipment as required
- Able to follow all the policies and procedures within the Card Room environment and within the duties of the role
- Develops and encourages an effective team building environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Exposure to customer service and service-oriented roles would be advantageous
- Previous experience is not required as training will be provided
Education
- Secondary-level education
Skills / Competencies
- Basic mathematics
- Able to effectively read, write, understand, and communicate in Greek & English language
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office products
