ICAP Executive Search,
on behalf of its client, a leading Greek company in the electrical equipment, building technology products, and energy management solutions sector,
is seeking to recruit a driven Business Controller.   

Business Controller (Ref. 6036/BC/ESS/GR)

Reporting directly to the CFO, this
role will act as a partner to the business, driving financial performance,
overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and supporting commercial decision-making
across key business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial
  planning in close collaboration with department heads
• Develop financial models to support scenario analysis, cost
  control, and profitability improvement
• Ensure accurate and timely management reporting
• Monitor KPIs and business performance metrics, providing
  analysis, insights, and corrective action proposals
• Act as partner to commercial teams, providing financial
  insights that guide pricing, promotions, category performance, and
  profitability
• Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations to
  optimize sales and margins
• Drive rolling forecast processes and provide forward-looking
  insight into financial trends
• Identify risks and opportunities, suggesting initiatives to
  enhance operational and financial efficiency
• Lead and develop the Financial Analysts team through
  effective coaching and guidance

• 7+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Commercial Finance, preferably within the retail or commercial sectors
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Experience in partnering with commercial teams and senior leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MSc/MBA or another professional qualification (ACCA, CFA, CIMA) will be an asset
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and influencing abilities, with a collaborative mindset
