In one sentence

The General Ledger Team Lead is responsible for financial reporting and record maintenance of several legal entities, both for local statutory reporting and consolidation purposes. Ensures compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards.

What will your job look like?

  • You will be responsible for managing, leading and developing a team of GL Accountants.
  • You will oversee and be responsible for both group reporting and local statutory reporting of legal entities within the EMEA region.
  • You will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports of the Company (consolidation and subsidiaries).
  • You will work with the external auditors over the completeness and accuracy of Amdocs financial records on a timely manner, under US GAAP and local GAAP.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring full local financial compliance in terms of VAT requirements, statutory accounts and local statutory audits.
  • You will be involved in preparing the analysis of the financial results to ensure correctness and that relevant provisions are booked.
  • You will be expected to provide financial and accounting support to the finance business partners.
  • You will supervise the profitability of the legal entities and ensure that the relevant corporate units are updated.
  • You will provide ongoing support and maintain the financial infrastructure to ensure smooth business operations.
  • You will act as a professional accounting focal point within the company, as well as with the company’s business counterparts.

All you need is…

  • ICAEW / ACCA / ACA / certification.
  • 4-6 years of relevant post qualification accounting experience.
  • At least two years of experience in leading or managing a team of accountants.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
  • Technical knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS and SOX.
  • Solid accounting skills and experience in the preparation of financial accounts.
  • Knowledge of tax accounting is an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP would be a distinct advantage.
