Our client is a well known multinational company market leader in their industry, currently establishing a service center for financial services in Athens that is serving the European entities. Due to a rapid phase of business growth, they are seeking to further invest to accelerate their financial processes and are looking for a SAP key user B2R. Working alongside the senior site leadership, the SAP key user B2R should support thedifferent phases of the overlapping waves acting as a coordinator between the SSC users, thelocal accountants and the SAP implementation team. Book to report scope covers accounting, reporting, controlling, and cash outflows scope.

responsibilities

As a SAP key user B2R your responsibilities will include the following:

Acquire a good understanding of the S4/ Hana processes and underlying core model business rules & common language. Coordinate pre go live & go live & stabilization activities of the SSC perimeter

Pre go live phase: with the guidance from the B2R Business process expert and the centrally assigned Super Key User of the SAP implementation team understand all the steps towards go live and monitor the SSC users activities planning progress.

• Ensure that the pre cut over activities are performed on time by the SSC users (+ perform some by himself depending on resources availability), mainly :
• Migration data preparation :data cleansing (reconciliation of auxiliary balances, cleaning of asset base etc), dry runs
• Alignments to core model : participate to workshop and follow up / perform resulting actions. Be the point of coordination between SSC, local accountants, the SAP S4/Hana Business Process Expert, the assigned Super Key user & IT team to ensure any localisation is done on time and coordinate change management between SSC and with other users
• Assist SSC Accountants to Perform core & specific tests (helped & guided by SAP S4 Hana team and local accountants)
• Training : SSC users training. SSC super key user must be able to perform an end user training (in run mode) on the SSC side with the help of IT

Go live phase: Understand overall cut over plan (which steps, what timing). Coordinate the SSCusers with the go live activities for B2R & participate in the post go live support of theSSC team.

Book to report scope covers accounting, reporting, controlling, and cash outflows scope. The SAP key user B2R is in charge of the training, coordination, support of the SSC accounting teams towards

a. the implementation and completion of the SAP go live for multiple legal entities on overlapping waves

b. after go-live stabilization and running support in 14 European countries.

In order for your profile to match the position of SAP key user B2R, you will need to possess the following skills:

• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience
• “Hands-on” experience in end to end accounting
• Fluent English speaker 
• IT savvy , experienced with SAP, possibly S4 HANA is a plus
• Previous experience in SAP implementation projects is a plus
• Very structured, excellent organization skills
• Ability to understand the nature of problemsand to explain to the users 
• Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and a moving context
