We are seeking a passionate kitchen supervisor who cares about the food and beverage industry and is able to effectively engage and motivate the team in a fast-paced environment. We expect our supervisory team to successfully assist in our kitchen operations and ensure all the business needs are optimally met. The ideal candidate shall perform the following duties.
Employment Responsibilities:
Supervise and co-ordinate the preparation and serving activities during the shifts
Consider the meal preparation process and order required ingredients and supplies
Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from specific customers such as dieticians
Plan and efficiently establish work schedules and staff duties
Explain job duties and instruct staff on sanitation and safety procedures
Supervise food and service quality and ensure performing standard obligations
Assist the selection of food service staff or the development of policies, procedures, and labour budgets in possible situations
Organize and keep records of stock, equipment, sales and wastage, and orders for supplies
Oversee overall business maintenance, cleanliness, security, and health and safety
Employment requirements:
Completion of secondary school
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience and/or experience in food preparation or service or an equivalent combination of experience and training programs
Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain before the employment start date
