JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our Credit Department as a Credit Analyst. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of our Credit Team with objectives including:

Conducting complete credit investigations

Determining the credit worthiness of new and existing B2B accounts

Demonstrating excellent follow through with ability to motivate sales reps to collect on accounts

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:
Evaluate and establish new accounts following the guidelines outlined in the credit policy and procedures manual

Monitor assigned accounts for past due balances, short paid invoices, or changing trends in the account payments and contact customers to resolve issues daily

Maintain up to date credit notes in system on individual accounts and communicate daily with internal sales force and Credit Manager

Communicate directly with customers regarding A/R, statements, invoices and discrepancies

Perform weekly stop ship analysis and effectively communicate with Sales and put accounts on credit hold as outlined in the Credit Policy and Procedures manual

Maintain customer file with annual updates as outlined in Credit Policies and Procedures Manual

Print and prepare A/R statements for mailing

Daily bank deposit balancing

Post checks or adjust accounts as needed

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
Minimum of one year experience in credit and collections, with ability to reconcile account history

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic math skills with the ability to conduct trend analysis

Proficiency in Word, Excel, ten-key by touch

Ability to learn quickly and be responsive to training

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment

Interpersonal and communications skills, with ability to work as part of a team

Strong organizational skills
