JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our Operations Department as a Building & Facilities and Quality Assurance & Inventory Control Supervisor. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of our Building & Facilities Team with objectives including:

Oversee maintenance and custodian teams and direct planned maintenance on ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems amongst other maintenance duties

Oversee quality assurance of inbound and outbound produce

Oversee inventory management and process improvements

Oversee building security

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:
Direct and perform planned maintenance on ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems, electric forklifts, and pallet jacks

Project expenses for building and equipment repairs, sanitation expenses

Train maintenance and custodian team members in safety and M.S.D.S.

Direct contractors in regard to the building and ground areas

Coordination of Quality Assurance activities

Coordination of Inventory Management, including cycle counting and driver returns

Quality checks of inbound and outbound produce

Champion Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures

Assist in any and all other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager

Possess a valid driver’s license

Be able to lift up 75 lbs. or more

Perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately and safely, with or without reasonable accommodation and without creating threat or harm

Must comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as, state, federal and safety regulations

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
Working knowledge of ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment

Knowledge of fire systems, operations and repairs

Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Inventory Control

Strong leadership skills with ability to foster positive team atmosphere

Ability to make timely decisions based on sound judgment

Strong Organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines

Working knowledge of DC powered forklifts and pallet jacks

Working knowledge of AC electrical, controls, motors, lighting transformers, battery chargers

Ability to climb ladders and work in confined areas

Ability to work in all types of temperatures inside and outside from ambient to -20 degrees

Ability to operate scissor lift, electric forklifts and pallet jacks, platform trucks and scrubbers

Basic computer skills

Attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to communicate and coordinate with other employees

Excellent Attendance

BONUS POINTS FOR:
At least two years’ experience in related field

HVAC experience & OSHA knowledge

RETA certified preferred

SQF certified preferred

Bilingual a plus
