As a Brand Promoter, you will work closely with the store management and brand marketing teams to build excitement and awareness for the new store opening, to ultimately drive students and community residents to visit the store and order pretzel snacks, cinnamon rolls and ice cream for delivery any time the craving hits!
It will be your job to seek out fun and relatable partnerships and events for the brands to participate in and contribute to on campus. That means building relationships with student organizations and planning engaging events. Youll also promote the location through sampling, direct selling and traditional paid
media. This is an exciting opportunity to gain real marketing experience and work with three iconic brands that students love!
Heres what youll be doing:
Become knowledgeable about Auntie Annes, Cinnabon, and Carvel brands and products
Complete 2-3 activities a week including…
EVENTS: Source local events, festivals, sporting events, etc.; and help in tabling/staffing the event (ex. Parents & Families Weekend, THON, tailgates, Greek Week, Alumni affairs, etc.)
SAMPLING: near the store, transportation hubs, or other large gatherings in the area (could include actual product, coupons, or merch)
BUSINESS DROPS: Execute product drop offs at local businesses and organizations to help grow our catering business in the local community
DISTRIBUTING MARKETING COLLATERAL: throughout the local neighborhood, dorms, apartment buildings, hotels, etc.
Manage local social media accounts creating & executing content (identifying and managing micro-influencers!), showcasing community involvement, driving traffic to online channels, and engaging in community management of page
Source appropriate fundraising and charity opportunities
Recap weekly efforts to your Marketing Manager and participate in bi-monthly catch up calls with brand teams to track progress
Heres the ideal candidate:ations, PR or Business major (current undergrads or post-grads)
Fun and energetic spirit with confident personality
Self-motivated
Well connected on campus and in organizations, clubs and/or Greek Life
Proficient social media skills
Access to personal computer with internet and smartphone with camera

Flexible work schedule | 15-20 hours per week (with potential to work some weekends)
