Currently we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our global team. As a Purchasing Buyer you will be responsible for managing SW procurement for both Internal, OEM and related services.

As a Cognyter you will:

  • Lead a software purchasing process for Internal & OEM solutions
  • Lead projects across procurement infrastructures
  • Act as a business partner to various departments, providing insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand software requirements and provide solutions
  • Collaborate and align with Support, Legal, Operations, Finance, and other business units to achieve the company’s goals
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with software vendors to secure advantageous terms and cost reduction
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
  • Monitor and manage software budgets and expenditures
  • Review and approve purchase orders according to the company’s policies and procedures

Requirements

For that mission you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Law, or a related field
  • 3 – 4 years of experience in procurement at a global technology-oriented company. Experience in software procurement, familiarity with Annual Recurring Revenue model (ARR) and subscription models – an advantage
  • Excellent commercial and analytical skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of ERP system, preferably Oracle
  • Ability to act as a business partner and collaborate effectively with internal teams
  • Problem-solving and service-oriented approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multi-task environment
  • Orientation to details and strong organizational skills
