About the Role
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team at Hotel Napa Suites. This position plays a key role in supporting the hotel’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining high standards of financial control in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Scope & Purpose
To support the hotel’s financial management and accounting activities by accurately recording financial transactions, assisting in reconciliations, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial data, including invoices, payments, and expenses related to hotel operations such as accommodations, food & beverage, and events.
• Conduct and verify daily POS reconciliations for all outlets (F&B, Bar, etc.).
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between POS reports and actual payments.
• Liaise with the F&B and Front Office departments to ensure accurate transaction records.
• Review and confirm the accuracy of petty cash reports.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Provide general accounting support as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience working with accounting software (e.g. SoftOne, SAP, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills – teamwork is key!
