REQ12457 Technician, Surveillance Technology (Open)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Equipment Installation

• Installs new CCTV and electronic equipment.
• Installs electronic cabling systems; data and power cables throughout complex as required.
• Installation and termination of above to a high standard.
• Applies appropriate testing to newly installed equipment to ensure sound functionality

Equipment Servicing, Fault Finding and Repairs

• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance to all CCTV equipment used to support Security, Surveillance, and Gaming Operation
• Employs effective fault-finding techniques to rectify equipment failure
• Ensures all repairs are conducted properly and are of a superior quality

Equipment Failure Response

• Plans for appropriate response to equipment failure
• Evaluates and confirms reported failure
• Instigates repair or rectification of defective equipment
• Informs manager of all faults noted

Team Goals and Objectives

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical/ Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledge of Windows based operating systems and all associated desktop hardware and software
• Knowledge of data networks, such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), intranets and extranets
• Knowledge of Data Streaming-Packets, TCP-IP Data Streaming
• Knowledge of Real time Audio-Video Streaming
• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Systems Engineering or other relevant subject
• CISCO Computer Network Programming Certificate would be considered as an advantage
• Greek and English – both spoken and written
• EU passport holder
