Job Title: Animator (General Entertainer)

Atlantica Bay Hotel is currently hiring an Animator to join the Entertainment Department in Limassol.

Position Summary:

As an Animator in Atlantica Bay hotel, you will play a vital role for organizing and leading recreational activities, entertainment programs, and guest engagement events to enhance the overall guest experience. You are responsible to ensure a fun, lively atmosphere for all age groups through games, shows, and themed activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To have full product knowledge of the hotel where you are working.

• To perform any other duty if required and asked for by your Team Leader, Group Entertainments Manager or Hotel General Manager.

• Actively integrate with the guests/ staff inside the hotel.

• Maximize the guest’s expectation and experience.

• To be well groomed, tidy, clean and always wear the expected Uniform at work, which must be clean and presentable. To wear a name badge at all times excluding water activities.

• To perform all activities and entertainment as directed by the Team Leader, Group Entertainment Manager.

• To be punctual at all times and never miss an activity. Time keeping is necessary and all entertainers have to follow the hours set in the weekly entertainment program.

• To handle all sound and lighting and other equipment used for entertainment with care and maintain it in good working condition.

• To look after the equipment and to ensure proper use and storage at night and during the day. You must inform your Team Leader of any damages to any of the equipment.

• To ensure that the entertainments daytime equipment storage room/ area is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times.

• To run the kids disco, evening entertainment for kids and ensure the enjoyment of all the children and the adults present.

• Establish a solid and friendly relationship with all colleges within the hotel. Treat all other staff members with respect at all times.

• To report all complaints from customers to the Team Leader at once.

• To give Hotel prizes/ certificates as authorized by your Team Leader for the daytime and evening activities.

• Make a special effort in keeping Guests happy and entertained at all times.

• At times, you may be required to assist at an Atlantica sister hotel. Flexibility is of the upmost.

• To adhere to the hotel Health & Safety rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English. Knowledge of an alternative language an advantage.

• Previous entertainment experience, at least two years in a similar role
