The Island Private School of Limassol is seeking a Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our expanding team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team on a seasonal basis. This role includes maintaining the cleanliness of common areas and bathrooms, handling weekly linen laundry, and serving breakfast each morning. You will be working 40 hours a week across six days (Monday to Saturday), starting early each day.
Key Responsibilities
Breakfast Service:
- Prepare and serve breakfast at 7:00 AM on weekdays, 8:00 AM on Saturdays
- Ensure the breakfast area is clean and tidy before and after service
Daily Cleaning:
- Clean and disinfect common areas, bathrooms, and toilets daily
- Replenish bathroom and cleaning supplies as needed
Weekly Laundry:
- Collect, wash, dry, and replace linens and towels once a week
- Ensure proper care and organization of all laundry
Other Duties:
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Follow hygiene and health safety standards
- Keep storage areas organized and cleaning tools maintained
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow schedules
- Punctual, trustworthy, and physically fit
- Good communication and basic organizational skills
- Intermediate English (speaking)
