A passionate and experienced DB Specialist ready to take full ownership of our database environments—both physical and applicative. You’ll play a key role throughout the product lifecycle, from development to post-production, ensuring optimal database performance and reliability.

What will your job look like?

• Be the go-to expert for solving complex, critical DB issues across all project stages—development, implementation, and post-production.
• Provide hands-on guidance to project managers, development teams, implementation teams, and even external customers—especially those without DB knowledge.
• Design and manage large-scale, high-performance databases and optimize code where standard approaches fall short.
• Tune and standardize database parameters and layouts across global customers to drive performance and consistency.
• Develop and implement strategic DB processes, including backup and recovery, and lead knowledge sharing and upskilling across the team.
• Act as a technical authority—set the vision, define the strategy, and handle critical production issues that impact business continuity.
• Lead by example as a trusted professional—building strong partnerships, setting expectations, and driving collaboration.

All you need is…

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of experience as a DBA in a software company.
• Deep knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, and Oracle (19c/23c), including RAC, ASM, and multitenant architecture.
• Familiarity with additional DB technologies like Hadoop, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Couchbase is a strong plus.
• Solid experience in UNIX/Linux environments and scripting.
• Proven ability to automate routine DB tasks.
• Relevant database certifications.
• Experience working in complex, multi-interface systems.
• Strong multitasking and team collaboration skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Previous work with large-scale projects and databases is highly advantageous.
