Development Operations Engineer
 

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Development Ops Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly automated cloud environments. In this role, you will play a key part in accelerating delivery pipelines, improving system reliability, and driving collaboration across development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams. You will also have the opportunity to explore and integrate emerging technologies, including AI-powered automation and observability tools, to continuously optimize our DevOps practices.

Job description:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Automate operational and deployment processes using scripting and AI-enhanced tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and speed.
• Ensure secure, stable, and scalable cloud and on-prem environments by applying modern DevOps methodologies and best practices.
• Proactively monitor systems across the full lifecycle, identifying performance bottlenecks, reliability risks, and opportunities for optimization
• Research, evaluate, and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-driven observability, monitoring, and incident response solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to enable smooth, end-to-end delivery.
• Contribute to incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document architectures, processes, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Two years of hands-on experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including deployment, configuration, and resource management.
• Solid experience administering Windows and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and OpenShift
• Practical knowledge of container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and/or Docker Swarm
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Shell/Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools, build automation (Maven, Gradle), and deployment pipelines, including mobile applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-driven mindset
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure CLI
• Exposure to distributed systems such as Azure Service Fabric
• Working knowledge of APIs and integration technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP)
• Experience or strong interest in AI-driven automation, observability, and DevOps tooling
• Passion for cloud-native architectures, infrastructure automation, and continuous improvement
