ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of our client, a dynamic trading company specializing in high-end household electrical products and interior kitchen design, is seeking to recruit an experienced professional for the position of Technical Manager & Head of Service (Premium Home Appliances) for its high-end / luxury home appliances company, specializing in premium refrigeration and cooking appliances.

Technical Manager & Head of Service (Premium Home Appliances) (6102/TM&HS/ESS/GR)

This role is responsible for the overall technical and service operation, ensuring exceptional after-sales experience aligned with a premium brand positioning. This role is based in Athens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the service department (technical support, after-sales service, warranty handling).
  • Management and coordination of a small team of internal technicians.
  • Technical expertise on refrigeration and cooking appliances (installation, diagnostics, repairs) and troubleshooting if required.
  • Development and implementation of service procedures, KPIs, and quality standards.
  • Direct collaboration with sales, operations, and suppliers/manufacturers.
  • Handling of high-profile clients and demanding projects, ensuring top-level service delivery.
  • Training and technical support of service teams and partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience at least 5 years in technical/service within premium or complex technical products (ideally home appliances, HVAC, white goods, or similar).
  • Strong technical background in installation and repair of home appliances.
  • Ability to demonstrate a managerial mindset.
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
  • Customer-centric approach suitable for luxury / premium clientele.
  • Ability to operate independently and take full ownership of the function.
  • Excellent communication skills (Greek & English).
  • Availability to travel across Greece when necessary
