Senior DSP Engineer

Job objective: As part of the research and development organization of Epirus , you’ll contribute to the mission by developing high-performance real-time, autonomous systems to rapidly develop next generation products. Employ your experience by developing cutting edge systems that support functions such as autonomous target tracking, agile electronic beamforming, and real-time hardware control.

Duties:
Define, design, and implement signal processing algorithms, signal synthesis, and demodulation

Work with FPGA , software and RF engineers for algorithm insertion

Model current or future systems to determine performance or requirements in MATLAB and Python

Work within an agile scrum team

Mentor peers to advance team velocity

Drive teams to create minimum viable products from concepts and idea s

Support firmware/ software QA and optimize I/O performance

Required Qualifications:
E xperience developing signal processing algorithms for sensor systems

E xperience with RF and EOIR systems

E xperience with MATLAB , Python or coding in 3 rd or 4 th generation languages

2 relevant projects with digital signal processing development

Strong foundations in mathematics, linear algebra, and physics

Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline, Master’s degree preferred

US Citizenship and/or Permanent Residency (Future security clearance may be required)

Desired Qualifications:
Leadership experience within a program or project

Experience sy nthesizing and demodulating high through-put communications waveforms

Experience with VHDL and Verilog

Experience with C++

Desire to mentor new hires
