responsibilities

For this entry level software developer position, you will join a team responsible for the development and maintenance of software applications. This includes the following:

• designing, encoding, testing, debugging, implementing, maintaining and documenting programs on large-scale complex projects and mainframe computer system software
• revising and updating programs and documentation as required
• works on specific software applications, which include operating systems, compilers, utilities and other control modules
• maintain the development and test environment
• application user support
• monitoring & reporting
• meet all agreed SLA’s and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
• reports to Applications Development Analyst

requirements

For this entry level software developer position, we would expect you to have

• knowledge of modular programming techniques and at least one software programming language
• SQL experience
• knowledge of IBM CL and/or RPG ILE language (iSeries env.) is a plus
• good communication skills (Greek & English) and ability to translate business needs into development requests & changes
• able to follow development standards & principles
