Summary: Primary responsibilities are to greet and seat guests upon arrival in a quick and courteous manner. ALL employees must practice safe food handling, proper handwashing techniques and good hygiene. Food safety is everyone?s responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following:

Communicates with service personnel of menu changes and daily specials
Provides menus to guests
Manages special seating requests of guests consistent with table availability
Relays messages to servers and bus persons as appropriate
Assists with the duties of servers and bus persons as needed
Checks table settings for proper presentation and completeness, and checks service tray stations for adequacy of supplies used for refill or replacement purposes
Will adhere to the company attendance policy and dress code (proper uniform including non-slip shoes)
Skills:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Must possess and maintain a positive attitude
Excellent customer service skills
Must possess the ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Education and/or Experience
High School graduate or equivalent
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a food service establishment
Must have ability to walk and stand for up to four hours in length
Must be able to perform simple math calculations
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Food Safety certification is required within 60 days of hire
