responsibilities
As Head of IT Operations, you’ll be responsible for improving the technology infrastructure, desktop and service desk support services. You will effectively develop and implement strategies for service delivery in order to support the strategic needs of the company ensuring the Business SLA’s are defined for IT delivered services. More, specifically, your duties will be following:
- Manage the desktop support operations, projects, security-compliance, change control and documentation
- Responsible for the daily performance and availability of the organization’s systems and its support in accordance with the established service level agreements
- Manages 24/7 the helpdesk team and the outsourced Network Operations Center which are responsible for monitoring, maintaining and supporting production systems and services
- Responsible for the negotiations and monitoring of voice, data, video, software contracts for the enterprise
- Participates in the Business Continuity Plan/DR Incident Technical response team and ICT Cybersecurity team
- Coordinates the: logical access & remote access processes, system vulnerability assessment process, capacity management process, preventive & corrective maintenance process, SLA Management & SLA reporting, the biannual user review process, vulnerability & patch management process
- Conducts regular technical controls in order to ensure customers satisfaction regarding operational issues
- Responsible for conducting surveys in terms of continuous operational improvement
- Coordinates 3rd party network/application security audits and penetration testing
- Utilizes tools to proactively maintain a secure computing environment both internally and externally
- Analyzes servers, backups, internal processes and the overall health of the systems and recommends upgrades and changes
requirements
In order for your profile to match the Head of IT Operations position, you need to have the following skills:
- 3+ years of proven working experience in managing help desk & operational support teams, preferably in a multinational environment
- Degree in IT or relative field
- Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Communication and organizational skills
- Customer focus mentality
- Ability to manage a team
- Very good communication skills in both Greek and English
- Completed military obligations, if applicable
