JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our National Accounts Department as an Account Executive. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of our National Accounts Team with objectives including:

  • Managing the over-all performance of the accounts assigned
  • Ensuring that all contracts are maintained 100% in accordance to the Key Performance Indicators established for the account.
  • Continually looking for ways to improve efficiencies within the Company. The Program/National Accounts Executive is to foster a team synergy within the Program/National and Public Funded Accounts department.

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:

  • Develop a complete understanding of all aspects of each account contract you are responsible for
  • Develop an understanding of all KPI’s on each contract you are responsible for. Make sure that all KPI’s contractually met
  • Develop a strong working relationship with all key contacts with your accounts. On both the corporate and franchisee level as well as the units management. Balance both office work and unit visitation. 80% administration – 20% unit visitation. This ratio can vary by account, and will be reviewed quarterly to ensure accountability
  • Be a good will ambassador for the Company throughout the Company distribution territory as well as throughout the industry. Attend Company sponsored events as needed and as requested by senior sales management
  • Develop an understanding of overall department focus and department customer base
  • Develop a complete understanding of the company tactical and goals and objectives strategic goals
  • Develop a strong working relationship with all internal departments
  • Develop a general understanding of all departments. Department Walk a Mile goals will be established and should be met
  • Meet weekly with the National Account Manager to review accounts as well as established goals to measure progress. Respond and assist with other projects and needs as asked by Sr. Sales Management that will help the betterment of the Sales department and Company in general

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

  • At least three years of relevant experience in sales or related account executive work
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to be flexible
  • Strong background in customer service
  • Ability to understand and interpret RFP’s and contracts (distribution agreements)
  • Motivation and is self-starter who is willing to motivate and empower others to succeed
  • Ability to understand and interpret company and department sales reports
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • Previous foodservice experience
