Job Summary
Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Bible courses at the Virginia Beach, VA, campus and online. The ideal candidate will possess strong training in exegetical method. Applicants with a specialization in Greek and Hebrew are preferable. A Master of Divinity or a related field is required. Prior college teaching experience is preferred in addition to proficiency with online instructional technology.
Expectations: 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses, and 4) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active Christian commitment are expected. Evidence of outstanding teaching ability must be demonstrated.
