Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with answering telephones, faxing, filing, running errands on campus,

make copies, etc.

  • Greet office visitors, answer questions and direct to the proper individual(s).
  • Run mail daily, as needed.
  • Maintain Student Activities calendar and bulletin boards around campus.
  • Maintain physical appearance of the reception area.
  • Post approved flyers and/or posters around campus on approved student

programming bulletin boards. Assist with social media management.

  • Assist with event management for department events and workshops (e.g.,

Welcome Week, RSO meetings, Greek council meetings, Homecoming, etc.)

  • Other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
  • Equipment Used 1. Computers 2. Fax Machine 3. Copy Machine, Scanner 4.

Card Swipe

  • Will participate in job trainings: Student Worker Training, Leadership

Development

QUALIFICATIONS

Good computer skills, good communication and organizational skills, high attention to detail and

personal responsibility for completion of assigned tasks, ethical reasoning skills; emotional

intelligence; positive and friendly disposition, the ability to handle confidential matters and be

professional, work well with others, ability to work 10-20 hours per week, and have a flexible

schedule.

COMPENSATION:
Student workers are paid minimum wage, twice a month. Payroll dates will be the 15th of the

month and the last day of each month.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Be in good standing with the University and maintain a 2.5

GPA at all times.
