responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Insurance Operations Associate include:
- Analyzing and review documentation submitted for insurance claims transactions
- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of claim review to meet or exceed client Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Working collaboratively with assigned underwriters
- Progressing toward a solid working knowledge of the insurance industry and of all products, services and processes performed by the team
- Communicating directly with both internal and external customers via phone and email
- Analyzing insurance claims for quality assurance
- Performing routine research on customer inquiries
- Make real-time system updates as needed
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and strive to meet service standards
- Collaborating with management or other team members as appropriate to proactively address service issues and concerns
requirements
The ideal candidate for the Insurance Operations Associate should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or relevant field
- At least 3 years of previous relevant working experience
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Excellent command of Excel
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of processing, rating and policy issuance systems
- Detail oriented
- Organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to adapt to change and embrace new processes/procedures
