Campus Staff (Greek)

There are more than 50 colleges and universities in North Carolina and South Carolina that have social Greek-letter organizations on campus. This means there are thousands of fraternitiy and sorority students in the Carolinas, many of whom are not involved in any ministry.

The vision for Greek InterVarsity in the Carolinas is to start student-led Bible studies in these fraternities and sororities so that every Greek student is one friend closer to Jesus. Of these 50+ campuses in the region, Greek InterVarsity currently has an official presence on only a few. However, we do have a number of connections and partnerships with local churches and individuals in the surrounding areas of many of these campuses.

A Greek InterVarsity Campus Staff Minister must have a love for the Lord and for fraternity and sorority students, and be gifted in ministry planting, student outreach, developing leaders, and ministering cross-culturally. Past involvement or familiarity with Greek InterVarsity and/or Greek life is strongly preferred.

We currently have potential job openings for Greek InterVarsity staff on a number of campuses in the Carolinas. The ideal Campus Staff Minister would live near one or multiple campuses and would need to be self-motivated and adaptable. The hours of this position are flexible. In partnership with the Regional Greek Ministry Coordinator, the staff would be expected to raise financial support for their ministry budget from local churches and individuals.
