Job overview and responsibilities

Market and Community Innovation team is responsible for leveraging unique tactics to localize the customer experience. The team is comprised of the Market Strategy team and Sponsorships teams that lead the way on how companies engage with communities. With a growing number of Generation Z entering the workforce, the organization must understand how to earn their future loyalty. The goal of the Development and Research program is to:

Increase membership to MileagePlus loyalty program by advertising the Young Adult Program

Drive awareness and bookings for local United service through Landline

Recruit and conduct research on Generation Z values

Build/Enforce brand awareness of United Airlines and Landline service

Increase MileagePlus memberships by promoting the Young Student Discount program

Recruit a diverse group of students for research studies and focus groups

Support research through surveys and focus groups

Support local United and Landline external events

The hourly rate for this position is $18 to $20, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills.

Required

Enrolled, full-time student in their junior or senior year (as of the Fall 2021 – Spring 2022 Academic School Year)

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills

Attention to detail

Experience in Business, Sociology or Research and Analysis

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

Active on campus through academic clubs, sports, Greek system, and/or campus organizations (student government, dorm leaders, etc.)

Good academic standing with university

Event planning, survey design, data analysis, focus groups
