The recently revised Frontex mandate foresees the acquisition of technical equipment. As a result, the Agency is organising a maritime informative event, in order to gain comprehensive information on the products and services available on the relevant market, in order to be able to proceed with the acquisition of maritime technical equipment services. Except for the regular crew provided by the potential contractor, the vessel should accommodate a team of approximately 10 persons which will be provided by Frontex for operational purposes. During this event, the prospective bidders from shipbuilding, shipping and other related markets, would have the opportunity to present their capacities to respond to Frontex above mentioned needs.
