HERFF JONES, Wax Tree-Up Operator – Warwick, RI

YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
The Herff Jones Operations team, based in Warwick, RI is looking for a Wax Tree-Up Operator to join our team.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact:
Reporting to the Wax Room Manager, the Tree-Up Operator is responsible for preparing injected wax and plastic pieces and rings for investing and casting.

But don’t worry, we would never ask an employee to take on an assignment they didn’t already have the right skill sets they needed to succeed. As we see it for right now, however, here are the challenges that we want you to tackle:

Receive pieces from wax/plastic injection or sizing.

Sort pieces by alloy quality.

Select appropriate base and wax tree.

Attach pieces to the wax tree using wax needle.

Place ID tag on top of tree.

Weigh the tree and base on scale and record in computer.

Group together the shop copies for the tree and label the top copy with the tree number.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:
1 -2 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setting is preferred, in addition to meeting the following requirements:

Education / Certifications Required – high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Other – Must be able to read and understand order and specifications, which are written in English.
