The University of Pittsburgh Department of Business and Auxiliary Services is seeking a qualified Assignments and Leasing Coordinator. This individual will manage all aspects of University owned housing assignment/leasing processes and management including room selection/retention, the freshman application process, housing assignments for upperclassman and on-campus Greek chapters, room changes, year round housing, spring and summer housing assignments and monitoring of early student arrivals and late departures. Other duties include, but are not limited to: data analysis, software coordination, serving as the liaison between residents/tenants and other departments and the Oakland area as necessary and resolving high level assignment issues and student advising (ASLAC). Participation in an administrative emergency on call rotation is required.
Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of professional experience required. Experience in a higher education setting is preferred. Incumbent must exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment. Incumbent must demonstrate the ability to operate independently and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
