responsibilities
As an assistant finance manager -EMEA your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Finance team in the daily financial operations covering Greece, UK and Germany on
- Accounts Payables and Reporting.
- Assist Finance Manager-EMEA on ERP development project
- Timely & accurate preparation of monthly management accounts including consolidation of results for EMEA region with supporting schedules & commentaries
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including supporting documentation.
- Preparation of monthly Budget comparison report for group reporting purposes
- Review of Inter-company Reconciliations.
- Assist in reviewing internal controls & implementing improvements in company processes.
- To identify and evaluate areas for improvement of profit with regards to cost reductions and operating efficiencies.
- Monthly stock reporting & analysis.
- Review monthly VAT/Tax returns, & other Government returns as required.
- Coordinate annual external audits, tax submission.
requirements
As the ideal candidate for the assistant finance manager – EMEA position, you should possess:
- Reputable University Degree in a relevant subject – Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business etc
- Internationally recognized Accounting Qualification – CPA will be an asset
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of accounting experience
- Languages – English required, Greek not essential but preferred
- Strong MS Office Skills – Excel
- Working experience in international group
- Exceptional Organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Hands on and gets into the detail
- Accuracy and ability to quickly understand the business
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all level
- Evidence of working autonomously without constant supervision and direction.
