responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Back Office & Tender Officer position include:

  • Serves as point of contact for queries related to the medical devices business for both internal and external stakeholders in line with local Commercial Policy (Pricing, Discounts, etc.) and in accordance with Code of Conduct, with the purpose of achieving sales and profitability objectives.
  • Supports team in bid management, ensuring efficient and on time tender preparation, delivering on time the demanded documentation and any relevant marketing material needed, contributes in cost and price calculations.
  • Manages relevant processes with the purpose of identifying ways to automate, standardize and simplify Tender Management with the support of internal stakeholders and all available tools and applications.
  • Assists with the forecast for product stock levels, pricing strategy, budgeting and reporting in order to support business targets, by taking into consideration relevant P&L data and forecasts for own area of responsibility.
  • Works closely with the rest of the Radiology team and provides reporting regarding public tenders’, present and future status and the relevant analysis, open/closed opportunities for equipment and disposables, competitors’ activity, leveraging marketing intelligence reports.
  • Handles customer service requests from Public and Private Sector clients, SKU/Globans
  • Management, as well as the handling and archiving of all relevant documentation and the respective samples.
  • Monitor of upcoming tenders and opportunities and notify the sales department

requirements

The ideal candidate for the Back Office & Tender Officer position should have:

  • University degree from a reputable university 
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Economics, Business Analysis or any other relevant field will be considered an asset
  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar position, experience in medical device industry is highly appreciated
  • Knowledge of Public Tender legal framework
  • Exposure in tenders, relative legislation, local hospital management practices, will be considered an asset
  • Exposure in P&L, budget, sales plans etc.
  • Excellent presentation, representation and influencing skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Business acumen, innovative thinking and passion to deliver great results
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time 
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
  • Strong digital/IT skills (as an end user) – Ability to quickly adopt new technologies
  • Fluency in Greek & English (both written and verbal)
