As a BI Developer you will be designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, crafting and executing queries upon request for data and present information through reports and visualization. 

Ultimately, you will enhance the business intelligence system and support the company in making better decisions.

As a BI Developer, your duties will be the following:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms 
• Create tools to store data 
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems (Power BI mandatory, SAP BO is a plus)
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
• Develop and update technical documentation
• Develop and maintain ETL process

The ideal candidate for this BI Developer role should have a background in data and business analysis. 

You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. If you also have a business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we’d like to meet you.

In order for your profile to match this BI Developer role, you need to have the following skills::

• Degree in IT
• Proven working experience as a BI Developer/Engineer 
• Exposure to Azure Data Platform
• Understanding of data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
• In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework (preferred in Azure platform)
• Familiarity with BI technologies (Microsoft Power BI, DAX is mandatory)
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• BPO/Call center data analysis experience is preferred
• Knowledge of SAP BO is considered as a plus
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
