responsibilities
As a commercial & planning analyst in this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Assume direct responsibility for the Route to Market and Commercial Planning process
- Manage investment planning and ROI tools in order to improve profitability. Monitor and report on key
- variations/changes in actuals versus budgets and business strategies
- Responsible for commercial relevant business systems (Commarch – Qlick View – EDI etc.) and link to SAP
- Prepare and develop advanced reports or tools
- Monitor sales KPIs to assist strategy execution, proactively analyse variances versus budget and sales history
- Act as a key contact person for Sales Team in order to identify gaps, address changes and optimizations regarding the business systems
- Provide guidance and practical support for customer profiling, targeting and monitoring though legacy systems
- Improve Sales team understanding of the benefits of segmentation, targeting and activity planning
- Evaluate and challenge sales & promotional activity plans with the commercial team in order to achieve
- accurate forecasting results & optimized purchasing plans
- Prepare customers’ PnLs and present to internal customers and stakeholders
- Overall pivotal and supportive role to internal customers (Sales, Finance) and their clients
- Communication and coordination with suppliers of systems and HQ
- Supports management with risk assessments and mitigation action plans and activities
requirements
In order to be suitable for this commercial & planning analyst role you must possess:
- University degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience in commercial fiance
- Extensive knowledge of the FMCG industry and market dynamics
- Fluency in the English
- Working knowledge of software related to MS Office, BI, SAP and other sales related systems/tools
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs
- Negotiation skills
