The Role. The Content Marketing Associate’s responsibilities include conducting thorough research on SEO specific to industry or solution related topics, generating ideas and direction for new content outputs, creating new content for websites (AArete.com and respective partner website content) and supporting content for digital marketing assets. This role will also be responsible for proofreading articles before publication.
Ultimately, you will strategize, generate, proofread and manage all brand content and relevant marketing produced assets to appeal to our target audiences (internal and external) with the goal of attracting customers and boosting brand awareness through content.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research industry related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Write clear and consistent marketing copy to promote our services/capabilities/products that is succinct across all marketing assets
  • Prepare well-structured drafts supporting design layout taking into consideration the project goal and dissemination channels
  • Write or proofread/edit blog posts and articles before publication
  • Work with Leadership for input and approvals
  • Coordinate regularly with marketing project manager(s) and design team for optimal workflow, ensuring clear goal is being achieved through content
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO best practices to increase organic web traffic
  • Create content for company’s social media channels
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a content writer, copywriter or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Experience with market research
  • Familiarity with web publications
  • Highly organized project management skills
  • Ability to cross collaborate with other teams/departments providing strategic content direction
  • Understanding of SEO with experience in keyword research
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Former employment at professional services firm a plus
