responsibilities

As a Country Procurement Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Leading local procurement organization and relevant operations
  • Participating in financial planning and delivering value
  • Cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives driving
  • Applying, coordinating and developing category management principles
  • Regional/Cluster/Local implementation plans as per Global/Regional/Cluster directions
  • Applying Global Supplier Relationship Management principles with suppliers in full coordination with Global/Regional/Cluster directions
  • Ensuring business connectivity and foster collaborative business partnership with specific stakeholders
  • Alignment and compliance ensurement with Global/Regional/Cluster strategies
  • Trends and opportunities identification, best practices application in procurement process management by utilizing latest models and actions taking for areas of improvement
  • Supply risk assessments conduction, contingency plans building, proposing and offering solutions including extensive market researching and proactive sourcing of innovative suppliers

requirements

To be an ideal candidate for the Country Procurement Manager position, you should possess:

  • Minimum 5 years in Procurement, preferably in a multinational company
  • Experience in a FMCG company would be an asset
  • Factory-environment knowledge is a plus
  • University degree and/or MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply)
  • Fluency in English and Greek
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tool and SAP
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Aptitude in decision-taking, working with numbers, analytical and strategic thinking
  • Talent in negotiating and networking
  • Travel availability (Northern Greece)
