responsibilities

The job description of the experienced Credit Controller is the following:

• Prepares and analyses the weekly, monthly and quarterly cash forecast related to the customers collections
• Leads the weekly cash calls with Europe
• Communicates on a day-to-day basis with the customers, the business and also the billing department, in order to ensure timely and accurate cash collection
• Checks customers’ credit ratings and performs credit checks on new customers
• Participates in the annual cash budgeting process
• Monitors various KPIs, such as DSO, Ageing etc.

requirements

The ideal candidate for the role of the experienced Credit Controller should have the following:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Experience in cash collection and credit control processes, or general finance
• 4-5 years’ work experience in a similar position, ideally in a banking environment
• Prior exposure to multinational/multicultural environment
• Very good knowledge of English and French
• Ability to work under pressure
• Very good analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders
• Ability to follow up proactively on cash collection issues and provide report to management on outstanding invoices, while highlighting potential risks.
