HERFF JONES, CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR
YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
The Herff Jones in Arcola, IL proudly makes and manages the service experience for the cap and gown part of our business. We are looking for a customer service coordinator to make a difference in this newly created position on our team.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact:
Reporting to customer service manager, as a team member of the department, you will be asked to learn all positions to provide optimal production in the department. Understanding the overall service process will provide the flexibility to perform other functions as needed and be prepared. This includes, but not limited to, warehouse pick/pack duties, inventory related activities, and cross-training opportunities in other departments. At times, we may work some mandatory paid overtime with advanced notice.

As we see it for right now, however, here are the challenges that we want you to tackle:
Help coordinate the daily activities of Customer Service Representatives.
Manage the requests and workflow related to our rental, keeper and academic apparel for our Greek (sorority and fraternity) system.
Act as the lead resource person for questions and inquiries from the customer service staff.
Coordinate the setup of new accounts, website review, sample requests, and campaigning process.
Review and apply metrics for Customer service to ensure quality and effectiveness.
Prioritize work for staff to help ensure timely completion and uninterrupted flow of service.
Monitors turn time on email and voice mail and assists in meeting our service level goals
Knowledgeable about all functions of customer service and programs used to perform tasks.
Help coordinate training and training materials for seasonal support staff.
Helps keep SOP’s, checklists, and manual updated with changes/new materials.
Reports directly to Customer Service Manager.
Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Must have strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Enjoy learning new processes along with detailed follow-up skills.
Reading, writing and math skills commensurate with job duties.
Good working knowledge of PC and related software programs.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential job functions.
Job may require lifting but not to exceed 30 pounds.
Must have strong product knowledge and basic working knowledge of Warehouse Processing and Manufacturing Department procedures and personnel.
