responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Engineer you will join the Technology department and your duties will be the following:

• Develop, implement, maintain and oversee enforcement of IT security policies, procedures and associated plans for system security administration and user system access based on industry-standard best practices
• Identify gaps in design and operating effectiveness of controls and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
• Conduct research on emerging IT security products, services, protocols and standards
• Perform ongoing risk assessment and audits to ensure that information systems are adequate
• Design, perform, and/or oversee penetration testing of all systems in order to identify system vulnerabilities
• Assist in the design and implementation of a disaster recovery plan for IT systems
• Deploy, manage and maintain all security systems and their corresponding or associated software, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
• Monitor server logs, firewall logs, intrusion detection logs, and network traffic

requirements

The ideal candidate for this Cyber Security Engineer role should have:

• 5+ years of experience in a Cyber Security role
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or any relevant field
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) certification 
• Familiarity with deploying and operating vulnerability scanning infrastructure, services and network penetration testing
• Strong communication skills in both Greek and English
• Availability to work both from home and at premises
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Team spirit
