Data Entry Specialist

The Data Entry Specialist reports to the Director of Procurement and is a key member of the Company’s procure to pay team. Specific responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Timely and accurately input data and upload documents into ERP systems to maintain vendor records

Verify authenticity of new vendors using 3rd party research tools

Inspect completeness of requests submitted by internal stakeholders prior to data entry

Maintain data records in expense management and purchasing card systems

Generate ad hoc reporting requests

Assist with the monitoring and measurement of work performed

Support continuous improvement activities to improve and simplify processes

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred

Works under time restraint and follows a multiple step process from start to finish.

Speed and accuracy for data entry with extensive time periods sitting at a desk, keying in data.

Must be detail-oriented.

Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with PII guidelines at all times.

Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.

Proficient knowledge and skills working with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Experience with ERP (purchasing or vendor modules) and Concur preferred
