Deputy Chief of Staff

Summary

As Chobani’s Deputy Chief of Staff, this position reports to the Chief of Staff under the direction of the Founder and CEO. A high-visibility strategic partner, this role supports the Executive Office with effective decision-making, project management, and execution of strategic initiatives. The successful candidate is flexible, adaptive to ever-changing needs, engaged and proactive.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the executive team members to support business strategies

Manage Founder/CEO schedule

Plan, coordinate and keep contents of meetings focused for optimal outcome

Provide insight to leaders on expectations and areas of concern

Anticipate the needs of the Founder/CEO and take immediate, thoughtful action in a logical sequence

Manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, investors, and customers

Track high priority initiatives for the Founder/CEO to identify any/potential obstacles

Build and lead the daily operations of the Executive Office

Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility

Act as an extension of the Founder/CEO and information funnel, filter, and facilitator with internal and external stakeholders

Assess all inquiries directed to the Founder/CEO, determine priority and the proper course of action

Act as the point of contact for the Founder’s direct reports. Triage all incoming requests for the executive’s time and work collaboratively with the Founder’s Executive Assistant to ensure his calendar is aligned with the priorities of the organization

Serve as a thought partner and strategic advisor to Founder/CEO, standing in on meetings, challenging ideas and offering a different perspective, and following up on action items with the team accordingly

Provide analysis, recommendations, and options to the Founder regarding high impact decisions

Manage the Founder’s brand & reputation

Requirements

MBA required

7-10 years of experience providing strategic support at the executive level

Experience with Microsoft Windows and MAC environments and good working knowledge of applications in those systems

Ability to research, compile and summarize complex and/or large quantities of data into short work products

Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently

Excellent judgment, problem solving and prioritization skills to ensure effective results

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to maintain confidentiality is imperative
