JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our Sales Department as a DSR. In addition to joining a company that has been awarded “Best Companies to Work For”, we offer excellent training, development and an outstanding benefits package. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of our Sales Team with objectives including:

Providing business solutions to customers and prospects

Delivering value to customers and prospects by making consistent personal sales calls by following up and executing commitments made during those visits

Customer acquisition, account penetration, and customer retention activities

AS A DSR, A TYPICAL WEEK WILL INCLUDE

60% – Personally visiting customers and prospects

20% – Following up with commitments made to customers and prospects

10% – Administrative work – order guides, price lists etc.

10% – DSM one-on-ones, District, Regional, and Corporate sales meetings

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:
Deliver results by attaining individual sales and gross profit budgets and other KPIs

Regularly visit prospective customers while understand Buying Influences and Solution Image

Complete initiatives, assignments, and projects as assigned by District Sales Manager and other team leaders

Understand, explain, and implement Nicholas and Company’s credit policies and terms with customers

Collect, handle, and deposit customer payments according to policy and within established time lines.

Adding new customers and significantly penetrate existing accounts.

Prepare and conduct Quality Business Reviews (QBR) with customers as a customer retention strategy.

Become familiar with and understand DSR compensation programs and commission chargeback policies

Attend and participate in all Nicholas and Company required sales and training meetings

Complete Nicholas and Company DSR training program and certifications

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent

5 + years in distribution sales management with proven track record in pursuing and closing new sales opportunities

2 + years of distribution management

Proficiency with Salesforce.com. or equivalent CRM

Ability to network, prospect and build relationships

Analytical skills including budgeting, margin management, expense management and compensation

Tactical and strategic thinking

The ability to quickly learning new products and applications

Strong presentation and communication skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point
