Role description:
Trading support role within the FX / EM Rates Derivatives Middle Office.

Daily trade capture and verification of all trades including: FX Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, FX Options, FX Exotic options, Structured Trades, Volatility Swaps, Range accruals, FX Futures, bond futures, interest rate futures, options on futures, bond options, etc.

Complete knowledge of lifecycle of a trade from booking to Confirmations / Settlements, Novation, NPV of cash flows, Terminations, etc

Working knowledge of matching systems like Harmony PB, Traiana, FX All, GTSS, Markitwire, Bloomberg.

Dealing with queries and ad-hoc requests from front office, risk, compliance, finance and operations

Control of trade workflow including ownership of inter-system reconciliations

Responsibility for monitoring regulatory compliance; counterparty risk, CSA agreements, Mandatory Clearing, SEF/MAT / Dodd Frank, MiFid, CTFTC exceptions.

Researching and troubleshooting problems such as: resolving trade booking issues and cash breaks P&L variances and valuation issues.

End of day official market production building and maintaining NGFP-NY market

Coordinate with quant and technology teams in recommending, testing, and implementing enhancements to our trading platforms and internal reconciliations / controls.

High level of accuracy required in trade verification with minimal errors expected

Ability to manage multiple issues and effectively prioritize workload

Contribution to ongoing development of STP and control environment

Management and development of direct reports and taking a leadership role

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

Experience in a trade support / middle office role within FX / Rates Derivatives.

Familiarity in dealing with risk and P&L including knowledge of main Greeks.

Knowledge of regulations governing FX, ISDA / DoddFrank/CFTC / MiFID.

Understanding of operational risk /mitigating controls and systems like Harmony PB, Traiana, FX All, GTSS, Markitwire, Bloomberg,etc.

High level of proficiency with Excel , VBA , Digital tools, etc
