Job Description:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative office operations for Greek Life

Oversees Greek Life budget and purchases

Collects and maintains chapter data in Mainframe, LSU’s database system to support student success

Updates and revises Greek Life’s website and Greek Tiger publication to maintain accurate content and information

Serves as key member of the Greek Life Leadership Team

DETAILS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate Office Operations – coordinates all operations of Greek Life. Serves in coordination and communication role in the distribution of information to Greek Life constituents. Develops and maintains Greek Life workflow calendars. Train and supervises student workers, and coordinates work schedules to ensure coverage of Greek Life during university operating hours. Participates in departmental trainings, special events, and other programs and events by providing support prior to and during events. Advances the goals of Greek Life, Student Affairs, and the University. (20%)

Compliance – Responsible for the collection, management, and documentation of all materials submitted for the Greek Standards for Success process, LSU Permanent Memorandum 68, and other forms required by the University. (20%)

Webmaster – Maintains, updates, and monitors the Greek Life website to ensure accuracy and compliance with ADA requirements. Works closely with the Office of Strategic Communications to stay updated with University requirements. Assists with the dissemination of the Greek Tiger, a publication designed to promote Fraternity and Sorority membership to incoming students each May. (20%)

Finance and Human Resources Support – Performs all accounting transactions, including processing LaCarte entries and preparation of purchase requisitions, travel reimbursements, and deposit transmittals; assesses the Greek Life charge to participating members and processes refunds. Tracks expenditures and reconciles monthly budgets for completeness and accuracy. In Workday, processes student employee appointments. Oversees daily operations of Greek Life, including communication, physical space, technology maintenance, and supply orders. (20%)

Data Collection and Dissemination – Responsible for the collection, documentation, and release of grade reports for the Greek community each semester. Coordinates with LSU Parking to ensure that Greek housed students are coded for Greek Parking Permits. Assist LSU Dining with the tracking of the Greek Meal Plan process. Facilitates the coding of all new members in the University mainframe. Ensures that each organization’s membership roster changes are made by each president and updated on the University’s database. Updates and maintains contact information for chapter presidents, advisors, house corporations, house directors, headquarter staff, and University stakeholders. (20%)

Working with a sense of urgency is pivotal to the success of Greek Life. The Coordinator will be positioned to assess all processes and procedures within Greek Life to assure they are responsive to the needs of the Greek community and other stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Excel and Adobe
