JOB QUALIFICATIONS/DESCRIPTION
The Director or Front Office must demonstrate a commitment to customer service by soliciting and responding promptly to guests’ needs. This role oversees all aspects of Front Office operations and is responsible for ensuring they are completed in an attentive, friendly, efficient, and courteous manner while also maximizing room revenue and productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to the Vision Statement and Core Values, as well as all standards of operations, policies, procedures, manuals, training material, memos, and verbal instruction
Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees
Oversee arrival and departure experience, ensuring guest’s expectations are always exceeded
Respond to all guest requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner
Lead by example; support the department operation and provide direct service to guests as needed
Manage associate engagement, scheduling, payroll, counseling, and quarterly department meetings
Create, implement, and execute department trainings, recruiting and innovative pre-shifts
Develop departmental objectives, budgets, policies, procedures, and strategies for existing and new positions
Review daily financial and labor reports; adjusting the operation as needed to achieve annual budget and forecasts
Identify new and innovative strategic opportunities to fit the changing business needs and property strategic priorities
Maintain a results-oriented mindset, with leadership and project management tasks, for being able to manage short and long-term complex projects
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area
Ensure that all equipment is maintained in a good, safe, and working condition
Keep abreast of safety and emergency procedures and OSHA requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in related or closely related field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years related experience in an operational hospitality role or service industry; multi-unit leadership role required
Track record of creating profitable, operational, and innovative solutions for a hotel Rooms Department
Experience leading multiple projects from ideation through execution
