Hotel Ella Front Desk Agent – Full Time

Full-Time Hourly(Non-Exempt)

We’re looking for warm, genuine and thoughtful individuals for our Front Desk Team at Hotel Ella with the skills to provide our guests with top-tier Texan hospitality and an unforgettable Austin experience. Front Desk agents are responsible for providing superior service with all guest interactions; specifically, to exceed the expectations of all guests in a multitude of tasks that include, but are not limited to, telephone operations, checking guests in and out, taking reservations, inventory control and concierge services. The person in this position must possess good communication skills, and have the ability to resolve conflicts and possess a thorough understanding of New Waterloo policies.

Located near the heart of downtown Austin and walking distance to the University of Texas campus, Hotel Ella is a stylish boutique hotel housed in the historic Goodall Wooten House, one of Austin’s original landmark estates. Constructed in 1900, the Greek Revival-style mansion underwent an extensive renovation in 2013, and now offers the perfect balance between modernity and a rich history rooted in the fabric of the neighborhood and the university. With 47 guest rooms, a cabana-lined pool, and a wrap-around veranda overlooking our front lawn, Hotel Ella features beautifully designed outdoor and indoor spaces perfectly suited for our guests’ vacation, wedding, corporate event, and more.
