EYs Technology Solutions Delivery Practice assists our consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle enterprise level IT architecture initiatives. The practice provides skilled architects with experience in leading architectural practices, methods, and resources in the enterprise applications and technology space. These resources design, architect, deliver and lead innovative initiatives which transform client legacy infrastructures into the dynamic digital environments. This group advises clients to understand, architect and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business in the digital age.

Your Key Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for managing project teams through design and implementation of IoT based Asset Performance Management(APM) and IBM TRIRIGA solutions for our Technology Solution Delivery (TSD) practice. As the IBM IoT lead, you shall be responsible for architecting and connecting client’s IoT assets and building analytical solutions for our client’s asset performance and building insights requirements. You will be expected to have hands-on technical skills in IoT device connectivity and integration to APM platform and/or TRIRIGA platform, processing and consumption of data payloads, generation of analytics to meet our objective of implementing successful IoT based solutions. You will be an IoT design leader within our technology solutions group which implements marketing leading applications to include IBM Maximo, APM and TRIRIGA to name a few. You would be expected to help mentor and enable cross-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions and enhance our end-to-end customer experiences within the applications we implement for our clients.

You will also provide business development assistance.

Skills and attributes for success

• Team with TSD professionals and broader EY ecosystem to develop innovative solutions for our clients and capabilities

• Develop IoT/ solutions and use cases and monitor IoT trends to help our client solve their challenges asset performance management challenges.

• Experience with IBM’s APM IoT platform and/or IBM TRIRIGA TBI platform and track record in architecting and developing solutions that help integrate IoT devices with these platforms. Strong background in IoT data and APM integration. Experience with integration of IoT devices with TRIRIGA TBI platform as well would be a distinct plus

• Develop IoT analytics framework considering all relevant artifacts including, security, governance, AI trust, connectivity, deployment, scalability and sustainability

• Demonstrate quality project execution and delivery by successfully monitoring delivery quality in client projects

• Take ownership of deliverables and conduct reviews with clients and seek sign-offs

• Conduct workshops and meetings with clients to address needs for IoT enabled solutions

• Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team. Delegate work successfully. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example

• Generate new business opportunities by thoroughly understanding EY and its service lines and actively assessing and presenting ways to apply knowledge and services

• Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally

• Manage and supervise a team of technology professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testing

• Interact and communicate effectively with finance and technology senior and middle management executives

• Work back with the distributed teams through SDCs and ODCs

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelors degree and 5 or more years of related work experience in system engineering/IoT platforms/Machine to Machine (M2M); or a graduate degree and 4 or more years of related work experience

• 5-10 years of experience working with large scale IBM IoT solutions

• Experience with IBM APM and/or IBM TRIRIGA implementing IoT solutions and use cases is preferred

• Application experience with Maximo EAM, APM or TRIRIGA is also preferred

• Experience developing web services

• Experience with data acquisition, streaming, and storage

• Expertise in internet and web development technologies such as Javascript, Java, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, PHP, and RESTful interfaces

• Understanding of IoT connectivity and architecture

• Good understanding of ISA-95 standards and experience in integrating Integration Severs and Edge servers with IoT platforms

• Understanding of machine learning, data patterns, and predictive analytics

• Strong understanding of DevOps and software/application development processes

• Translate business challenges into working and maintainable IoT enabled solutions

• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

• Demonstrated ability to creatively solve technical problems

• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills

• Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including emerging technologies, SOA governance, and new technologies

• The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel 70-90% of a work schedule

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field (MBA or MS degree preferred)
