EYs Technology Solutions Delivery Practice assists our consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle enterprise level IT architecture initiatives. The practice provides skilled architects with experience in leading architectural practices, methods, and resources in the enterprise applications and technology space. Your Key Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for managing large project teams through design and implementation of solutions for IBM Maximo or TRIRIGA engagements. The Technical Lead shall be responsible for overseeing large technical teams and to ensure high-quality development and smooth technical operations. In this role, you shall be expected leverage deep understanding of business processes to develop detailed technical specifications, and lead development activities that translate into high-performing solutions.

The client may also decide to use other integration (non-IBM) platforms. In your role, you shall be expected to solution the same in conjunction with IBM and non-IBM applications and/or IoT devices that need to be integrated. You will also be providing business development assistance.

  • Overseeing technical team(s) to ensure development of quality solutions for IBM Maximo or TRIRIGA projects.

  • Lead design, development, testing, deployment of IBM Maximo or TRIRIGA projects

  • Lead technical track and own complete delivery of technical workstreams in an IBM Maximo or TRIRIGA project

  • Demonstrate quality project execution and delivery by successfully monitoring delivery quality in IBM Maximo or TRIRIGA projects

  • Plan and develop project plans for technical track in tandem with the broader project plan for the project

  • Resource planning within the development team to produce deliverables on time. Effectively managing projects from initiation to completion, with clear communication & follow-up throughout.

  • Establish and track quality related KPIs, quality checkpoints, quality assessment reports and corrective measures for technical track

  • Develop templates, processes and RACI for technical development

  • Take ownership of deliverables and conduct reviews with clients and seek sign-offs

  • Conduct workshops and meetings with clients to address needs of the technical track

  • Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team. Delegate work successfully. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example

  • Generate new business opportunities by thoroughly understanding EY and its service lines and actively assessing and presenting ways to apply knowledge and services

  • Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally

  • Work back with the distributed teams through SDCs and ODCs

  • Providing high and detail estimates for new development and enhancements for IBM Maximo or TRIRIGA projects.

  • Translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications. Documenting requirements using appropriate content & formats (e.g. process steps, flow diagrams, desired outcomes, examples, etc) mapped to corresponding business process. Following-up & clarifying when requirements are incomplete, conflicting, ambiguous, or changing over time.

  • Modeling effective collaborative behaviors when working with individuals, teams, and suppliers. Following Agile practices & approaches, and actively contributing to Agile ceremonies

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelors degree and 5 or more years of of Maximo development experience with at least 3 years in a lead role

  • 5 + years leading solution definitions for Maximo or TRIRIGA implementation

  • Working knowledge of capabilities in the IBM Maximo EAM/APM solution. Understanding of the technical architecture of Maximo 8.0 (MAS 8) running on OpenShift.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Able to clearly communicate with leadership and colleagues about technical capabilities, limitations, issues, and recommendations.

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, independent, and resourceful.

  • Able to manage complex technical projects with diverse global stakeholders and detailed, interdependent requirements.

  • Experience with project management tools

  • Experience with DevOps tools

  • Experience with Agile practices and associated tools.

  • Able to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot issues.

  • The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel 70-90% of a work schedule

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or MS degree preferred)
