responsibilities

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will join the development team of the company. There will be very interesting projects for you to be involved in. You will be able to work either at the company’s premises in Thessaloniki or in Serres and your duties will be the following:

• Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
• Implement solutions for developers team
• Build and deploy automations, monitoring, analysis for system infrastructure
• Secure, scale and manage windows virtual environments
• Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement
• Strong understanding of DNS, SSL, Git, Firewalls and networking concepts (TCPDUMP, subnetting, VPNs).

requirements

As an IT Systems Engineer you need to have the following skills:

• 2+ years experience as an IT Systems Engineer in Windows environment (servers)
• Degree in computer science or relevant field
• Strong communication skills in both Greek & English
• Team spirit & analytical skills
• Αnalytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience in any scripting languages (PowerShell, and/or JavaScript, and/or Python, and/or bash scripting etc) will be considered an asset
• Experience in Azure Cloud is a plus
• Understanding of microservices, related architectures and Microsoft certifications would be nice
• Completed military obligations, if applicable
