This fast paced and challenging role provides excellent onsite Tier 1 and Tier 2. I.T. support directly to end users in our energetic office and manufacturing environments. Our I.T. Technicians troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop software and hardware, printers, networks, telephones/voice systems and other related equipment consistent with Chobani’s IT standards leveraging KCS practices.
Responsibilities
Provides excellent IT support to employees by fulfilling requests and troubleshooting intermediate issues both remotely and onsite.
Provides guidance to employees in a user-friendly, professional manner and may include one-on-one training as needed
Resolves and addresses issues related to windows PC’s, security authentication, Mac’s, mobile devices, virus / malware removal
Provisions and replaces computers, printers, smart devices and other IT endpoint equipment as part of the company refresh program
Documents work performed in Service-Now system using a prescriptive and detailed KCS methodology
Interfaces with various IT vendors directly to resolve issues as needed
Makes recommendations to improve current troubleshooting approaches and request processes by documenting work using KCS methodology
Proactively identifies and escalates issues based on observed trends to the team and members of management
Requirements
High School Diploma required, Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in I.T. related field preferred
2 years experience required working as an I.T. Technician providing end user support required
3 years experience working with Mac and PC computers required
3 years experience phone & printer troubleshooting required
3 years experience required performing basic software and network troubleshooting
5 years experience working with Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, ServiceNow, MS Outlook, Excel, Word & Powerpoint.
2-5 years experience providing phone and desk side support
Ability to write technical materials to communicate “how to” instructions
Ability to work effectively on a team
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Detail oriented
Knowledgeable of new technologies
Proficient in desktop operating systems and productivity applications.
Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills
Advanced ability to deliver world class customer service in varied environments
Advanced ability to manage projects and priorities
Advanced ability to document processes and workflows
Knowledge and experience of incident ticketing systems
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and server administration tools
Experienced with basic computer, phone & printer troubleshooting
Experienced with basic software and network troubleshooting
Able to maintain confidentiality
