UCLan Cyprus University is seeking to appoint a full-time Cleaner.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)

• Clean commercial buildings by emptying trash cans, servicing restrooms and wiping down communal surfaces

• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects upon request

• Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris

• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repair

• Make adjustments and minor repairs

• Stock and maintain supply rooms

• Cooperate with the rest of the staff

• Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately

• Follow all health and safety regulations

• Undertakes other such duties and responsibilities appropriate to the grade of the post as determined by the Head of Events and Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of both Greek and English Language

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to function under pressure

• Positive and outgoing personality, with strong sense of duty, work ethics, responsibility and reliability
